 Fantastic Feathers was established in 1976, it was an "All Avian Store" a real first for the times. Most birds then were wild captured babies, very few were US breed, domestic birds. Needless to say the business of birds has grown and so has Fantastic Feathers. The birds have never been a commodity for us. Our love and concern for them has always been MOST IMPORTANT. We have not bred any of the birds that we have sold over the last 15 years. With the exception of some of the smaller species. That is a full time job in itself, if all the requirements for care and interaction are met. We were fortunate to find a wonderful breeder that was willing to raise our birds. It has been a good arrangement. Fantastic Feathers, as we have known it since April of 1987, has literally sold thousands of birds! We have happy, wonderful clients that have been united with the birds of their choices and have been together for many years. We are grateful.
Due to many factors, it is now our choice to concentrate our efforts on the products of the bird industry. We will continue to have lots of toys, great food products, and concerns for your birds well being. Special requests will be a specialty. The number of birds we will be carrying will be limited. Mostly larger birds.We trust that you will continue to support our care and concern for the birds, your faithfulness to shop at Fantastic Feathers has truly made the store the success it is today!
